Renewable energy
Energy generated from natual resources - such as sunlight, wind, reain, tides and geothermal heat -- which are renewable (naturally replenished).

Offshore wind: electricity is produced from the direct conversion of wind energy by wind turbines sited offshore. DWL define offshore wind projects as ones with foundations directly in the water -- turbines installed on sea walls or harbours are not included.

Wave: electricity produced by devices utilising the direct and indirect action and movement of waves in the horizontal and/of vertical planes which are generated by the motion of wind across water.

Tidal Current Stream: electricity produced through the regular flow of currents. Whilst tidal action may affect the direction and intensity of a current stream its motion is not directly dependent upon it.
